
The Eisenhower Partnership has announced the appointment of Felix Oliver as its new Executive Director. He replaces Janet Gregor who resigned in April. Oliver comes to the Eisenhower Partnership with over twenty years of senior management experience. He has served as an Executive Director for the Linguistic Society of America (LSA) a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of the scientific study of language; senior manager of ES, Incorporated, a Washington DC-based management consulting firm; President and CEO of Granville Academy, a nonprofit national after school program; and Coordinator and Director of Health and Safety programs for the American Red Cross. Most recently, Oliver served as the Executive Director of the Metropolitan Washington Regional Health Service Planning Council which oversaw the allocation of the Ryan White CARE Act funding to the governments of the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia and as the Project Manager/Director of the HR Solutions project which provides personnel services to the U.S. Army through Department of Defense installations.
Local students from The Campagna Center High School Summer Art Program have collaborated with artist Jorge Perez-Rubio to design and paint a mural for the Eisenhower Valley! The mural is located at the Claremont Business Center where Eisenhower Avenue intersects with the Eisenhower Connector.

With the many changes occurring in the Valley and the Partnership's commitment to being the top source of news and views about the Valley the updated website will improve the information flow to the community.
